Review:
Urgh… this must be the worst Halloween movie I’ve seen so far… (although I still have Part 6 and Resurrection to rewatch so this might change along my marathon 🤣)
Unbelievable characters, bad scares, bullets don’t hurt Michael but a wooden plank does, even Dr. Loomis is starting to get redundant in the storyline…
I am no fan of this instalment in the series. Simply because it couldn’t hold my attention enough and I didn’t believe in the portrayal of the actors (Jamie being unable to talk really feels over the top)… and when someone disappears (gets killed by Michael) no one questions the absence of that character 🤷♂️ and Howarth’s score lacks the tension of any of the previous movie soundtracks imo…
Why did I still give it a 5 out of 10… there are some great kills in this movie… and the climatic scene with Michael and Jamie is pretty good…
But all in all… definitely not my favourite Halloween movie… I hold my breath for H6 😨
