Synopsis:

A seasoned sheriff investigates a dead body in the woods and calls on an old pal, a medical examiner, to help piece together a series of chilling events.

Review:

This was quite a creepy one, best episode in the series so far.

A mine collapses and leaves nine dead, one of them the reason why there was an explosion in the mine. So the sheriff calls on an old friend of his to do an investigation and some autopsies on the dead in order to find out what truly happened. But before the mine explosion there were some disappearances and dead people were found which is why the sheriff wants to keep it between them… for now. When the coroner starts his investigation he discovers more than he bargained for and all will be revealed to him but at a cost!

This was a very creepy episode with top notch performances, especially F. Murray Abraham did a splendid job!

These anthology series are just the best and can creep a man out in just under an hour which is amazing. The build up to the climax is shorter but that makes these stories all the more watchable. This one was eerie and especially gory, which I liked!

Now watch out for this that can crawl into your mouth at night when you’re asleep. Best to keep your mouth closed!
