Synopsis:
Michael Myers is still at large and no less dangerous than ever. After a failed reunion to reach his baby sister at their old home, Laurie Strode is immediately taken to a hospital to be treated by the wounds that had been afflicted by her brother a few hours ago. However, Michael isn’t too far off and will continue his murdering ‘Halloween’ rampage until he gets his sister all to himself.
Review:
Oh, how have the mighty fallen!
One expects certain things when a new Halloween movie comes out… clearly, the Weinsteins didn’t want those to be used in this atrocious parody of a Halloween movie…
1. Michael needs his mask… what the f* is he walking around without it?
2. Michael has no voice! Never, ever let him speak!
3. Laurie Strode is a sympathetic naïve girl… not an uptight PTSD riddled bitch! (I know: after what she’s been through… but I just couldn’t believe it)
What is it with Zombie’s fascination for naked women? Is there one woman in his movies that doesn’t act like a bitch or like a sex-crazed slut? 🤷♂️ the amount of tits in this movie is equivalent to a seventies porn movie…
I am a fan of most of his movies, even with the portrayal of women in his movies (not condoning it though) but this one, especially after a decent first part, is definitely not worth the ink nor the spit…
So conclusion: I thought Resurrection was bad… this bites the bullet on the same level… ok, the kills are better in this one!
Now let’s get back to Jamie Lee Curtis…
