Review:

This one-shot special of Jason X, the science fiction storyline of Jason Voorhees or Über Jason that was introduced in the 2001 movie, is also the start of a new storyline that will continue in Jason vs Jason X.

In this issue Über Jason X is taken to Earth Prime in 2455. Kristen, a bio-engineer, needs tissue samples from Über Jason in the hopes that his regenerative abilities can save her and her loved ones, the only surviving humans on Earth. She is convinced she can contain his rage. Big mistake

Jason starts another in-space-killing-spree and he’s being controlled by the voice of his mother, Pamela. And just when Kristen thinks she has the cure and has defeated Jason, reality kicks in hard!

This one-shot has all the elements a Friday the 13th story needs. Jason killing all and everyone, a direct sequel to the movie ànd in a way to the storylines in ‘Bloodbath’ and ‘Fearbook’ as well. Of course this is a science fiction story so Jason has a bit less luck with his kills.

Nothing can stop Jason, not even a scientist. But sometimes the horror doesn’t come from a machete wielding killer. Sometimes the killer lies in a small part!
