Review:
Tommy Jarvis is back! And he’s still obsessed with the slasher and serial killer Jason Voorhees who killed his mother when he was a small boy. He killed Jason and someone told him Jason was cremated but he discovered that he’s actually buried next to his mother. So he hatches a plan to unearth the corpse and burn it completely. For that he enlists his buddy and fellow inmate in the institution they are held, Hawes. But a freak storm and a lightning strike resurrects the body of Jason, thus starting a whole new series of killings. No man or woman is safe in the woods around Crystal Lake.
Tommy is taken in custody by the police and while in the cell, the sheriff’s daughter, Megan, who will help Tommy to stop Jason. But her friends are all in danger, as are the police men hunting Tommy. Eventually this will end in a fight till the death between Tommy and Jason on the lake!

This may be my favourite Friday the 13th movie in the entire series. It’s also the first one that offers some more supernatural insights into the character and had some really great killings, even unsuspecting people in the woods. This is also the last movie that the character of Tommy Jarvis appears in. And the ending of this movie inspired someone to make a life sized Jason Voorhees chained to a stone and leave it in Crystal Lake, Minesotta, left there by a fan in 2013.
The next movie is called New Blood because it ends the storyline with Tommy Jarvis and new protagonists will have to fight the immortal killer!
