Review:
A few weeks ago I was scrolling through TikTok and saw something fun (and especially funny) and even though I’m a very grown up man, I wanted it purely for the fun factor and a bit of nostalgic sentiment.
A is for Alien is a children’s book (while it has that horror factor due to the movie it is based on, of course) and while it has only twenty-four pages (it is the Alphabet after all), it’s a galore of fun and memories!
A few years ago I rewatched all the Alien movies, I still have to see the recent Alien: Romulus and there’s an upcoming tv-series as well called Alien: Earth. So this was a great fun reminder of the fact that these movies are out there as well!

A is for Alien, that’s something you might meet in space… that’s how this little book starts… and alphabetically we get to see all the things happening in the movie seen through the eyes of a child! So no bloody scenes but well it leaves something to the imagination as well, of course!
For those who haven’t seen the original movie (1979) should not read this little children’s book! This is actually the perfect nerdy gift you could give to an Alien fan. This way they can try and have their kids fall in love with the franchise as well by reading it for them as a bedtime story… (the nightmares are on the parent’s expense of course!!!)
I was and still am nerding out over this… and now I saw there were so many more other movies they made an ABC book about… so I guess I’ll be on the lookout for more!
