August was a weird month… once in a blue moon these appear… I suffered from a reading slump at the start of the month. This resulted in starting five books, never finding the right pace or the right book that clicked… a trip to Helsinki made it a bit harder to read as well…. And still I managed to finish more books than I expected I would… I even DNF’d a book to pick it up a week or two later and finish it anyway… well, sometimes you just need to take a step back, I guess… So this was my August book and comic reading plus the movies I watched.

2. Comics
Also this month was a continuation of rereading the Kiekeboes-series (a Flemish comic series about a normal family that gets themselves in unusual situations)
I put one graphic novel with the books I read as I think (even though it’s an illustrated book) it to be more of a book than a comic…
