Review:

Life can take turns and twists and when you think you have a goal reached in your life something can come up that kicks the good things from underneath your feet and before you know it, you’re dragged into someone else’s dirty games… this happens to Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) in M:I III.

Hunt has left the I.M.F. (Mission Impossible Force) and is married to Julia (Michelle Monaghan) who isn’t aware of his past as a spy. He seems to live a happy life until… the I.M.F. needs him back to save one of their agents from an arms dealer’s claws. The arms dealer is a sadistic, cruel and ruthless man named Owen Davian (a wonderful Philip Seymour Hoffman) and Hunt is back in the game to stop the man responsible for the death of the agent he trained, Lindsey Farris.

But even with the help from his team, Luther is back on it and for the first time we see Benji as well (played by Simon Pegg), Davian is smart and threatens to destroy everything and everyone dear to Hunt. And it appears Davian gets help from within the I.M.F. this time.

Apart from the fore mentioned actors this movie also has Maggie Q, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Billy Crudup and the amazing Laurence Fishburne and is the first feature film directed by J.J. Abrams who gave the series a whole new kick in the butt and made it more personal for Hunt but also more believable! I think this is Cruise’s best portrayal as Hunt in the entire series. (The two next instalments are great as well but it just felt real for Cruise in this movie)

I personally think this is the best Mission:Impossible movie so far! It has great action scenes, real spy work and some gadget use and a bunch of great actors and actresses working together!
