Synopsis:

Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead. Now, upon the news of Detective Kerry’s murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive in the terrified community to assist the veteran Detective Hoffman in sifting through Jigsaw’s latest grisly remains and piecing together the puzzle. However, when SWAT Commander Rigg is abducted and thrust into a game, the last officer untouched by Jigsaw has but ninety minutes to overcome a series of demented traps and save an old friend or face the deadly consequences.

Review:

The events in this movie are playing simultaneous with those from Saw III, apart from the beginning and the end… it introduces us to a few new characters in the series, such as Special Agents Peter Strahm and Agent Perez, who are on the hunt for the Jigsaw Killer. But John Kramer is dead and still new victims appear. A new game is afoot as well.

SWAT officer Rigg is the one playing the game now! He must overcome his obsession of wanting to help everyone and rush into a dangerous situation without thinking. His marriage is on the brink of falling apart and ever since they found officer Kerry ripped apart he wants to catch the killer even more. But before he can, he needs to play the game. Will he be able to let go?

Another Saw movie with even more gruesome traps, filthy pigs (literally) and a twist ending you didn’t see coming…

This movie starts with an autopsy on John Kramer and I can tell you, that is done so realistically that people who are faint of heart should not watch this movie (or any Saw movie for that matter!)
