Synopsis:

After surviving the destruction of Isla Nubla, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing took in young Maisie Lockwood. They’ve been living under the radar to protect Maisie, but she feels like a prisoner. When Maisie goes missing, Owen and Claire set out to find her, and eventually confront Lewis Dodgson, owner of Biosyn. Paleobotanist Ellie Sattler, Paleontologist Alan Grant, and Chaotician Ian Malcolm set out to expose Dodgson’s schemes.

Review:

The final Jurassic Park/World movie… and this time they brought back the big guns: big (never before shown) dinosaurs, a few familiar ones (Blue, Rexxie) and the main characters from both franchises are back: Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, Maisie Lockwood, Henry Wu and Barry Sambène but also, most importantly, Ian Malcolm, Ellie Sattler ànd Dr. Alan Grant!

And bringing back these characters means: chemistry all over the place plus little callbacks from the previous movies: is Ellie Sattler still married (JP III), Goldblum’s ranting on how we are subordinate to the new world order, Dodgson (different actor however), dilophosaurus attack, luring a dino away with fire ( a flare), Sattler’s outfit and sunglasses… you name them!

I think there is no better way to conclude this franchise (if it really is the final movie because I have already heard talk of a new movie)! There’s been a lot of talk about how bad this movie was and there’s no real story and what story there is is just not believable (locusts with dino DNA eat crops apart from the ones with Biosyn seeds) but I think you should discard all the bad reviews and watch this movie as an entertaining new instalment in a very good franchise with all the elements of the first one and the three Jurassic World movies combined… plus there’s dino’s! Just be a fangirl or boy and enjoy this effing great movie!

And don’t forget, there’s an extra on the Bluray (but this is also available online, on Youtube): Battle at Big Rock! This short movie is about a family camping out meeting some loose dinosaurs on their camping ground. (Should be watched before Jurassic World Dominion)
